1. The ‘promotion’ is the Lulu & Marula 30 Days To Happier Skin skincare challenge, including the competition element of winning a year’s worth of Lulu & Marula skincare.

2. The promoter is Lulu & Marula (Pty) Ltd, a natural, ethically produced skin and body care collection.

3. The promotion commences and free skincare kit is available until 31 December 2022 or when the promoter chooses to end the promotion or when the full available stock has been allocated to entrants.

4. The ‘Free Skincare Kit’ refers to the randomly assigned items, from across the Lulu & Marula range, which will be sent out to those whose applications to the promotion are accepted.

5. The promotion is open to residents of South Africa over the age of 16 of any race or gender.

6. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the promotion.

7. By entering the promotion, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

9. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

10. Closing date for entry will be 30 November 2022. After this date, no further entries will be permitted.

11. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

12. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

a. Visit https://luluandmarula.com/pages/30-days-to-happier-skin 

b. Use the Google Form to sign-up, where you will be required to submit a compulsory ‘before’ make-up free photograph or video of your skin right now. Fill in all the additional compulsory information on the form, answering the questions in as much detail as possible.

c. Your application will be reviewed by the promoter’s team.

d. If your application is approved, you will be notified by email and you will be sent a selection of Lulu & Marula skincare products via postal delivery to the address provided by you in your application.

e. If your application is unsuccessful, you will also be notified via email.

f. You are required to use the provided free products for 30 days, and will be sent regular emails from the promoter to assist you in getting the most out of them.

g. After 30 days, you will be required to upload photographs and/or videos after your skin, as well as providing feedback and reviews on your experience. 

h. The promoter will then select 2 (two) winners from the participants, who will be given 1 (one) year’s worth of Lulu & Marula products, as well as being invited to take part in our campaigns over the next calendar year (12 months) as a model.

13. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter's control. Any changes to the promotion will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

14. Entrants are required to submit their photographs/reviews/videos 30 days after receiving their free Lulu & Marula skincare products in order to be in the running to win the prize.

15. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate promotion or prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with the promotion or promoter.

16. The prize is as follows: 1 (one) calendar year’s worth of Lulu & Marula skin and body care products, the quantity of which will be set by the promoter. An invitation to appear as a model in any promotional photography or videography shoots being undertaken by the promoter for 1 (one) calendar year following the promotion. The promoter then reserves the right to use these images and videos for promotional purposes in perpetuity following the promotion, including in/on social media and promotional material.

17. 2 (two) winners will be chosen by the promoter from all entries received and verified by the promoter and its agents. 

18. The winners will be notified and announced by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

19. If anyone hurts themselves or property is damaged or lost because people have used or misused the information in these terms and conditions or the products provided, then the promoter is not liable under any circumstances.

20. Neither the products nor any information provided by the promoter are intended to, or claim to, diagnose, treat, alter, cure or prevent any skin disease or condition. The promoter will not be held responsible for any adverse side effects, allergies, or negative reactions to the products.

21. Entrants use Lulu & Marula products entirely at your own risk.

22. As all Lulu & Marula products are made in small batches due to their organic nature and to ensure premium quality, inconsistencies and minor variations will occur from batch to batch. This is entirely normal, and will be accepted by the entrant.

23. Communication with entrants will only happen through email.

24. The promoter will notify the winners when their prizes are delivered.

25. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

26. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

27. By entering the promotion, entrants agree to the use of his/her name and supplied images/reviews/updates/videos in any promotional material, including but not limited to the Lulu & Marula website, Social Media platforms, adverts, and emailers. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

29. Entry into the promotion will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

30. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Shopify, Facebook, Instagram, Klaviyo or any other social or messaging network.
